GT Power Inverter Generator GT8000ESi

With 8000W (max) power output and up to 7hrs runtime the GT8000ESi is the ideal generator for home back-up, worksites or in emergencies where perfect power is essential. As an inverter, it will safely run sensitive electronics such as laptops, household appliances and power tools – perfect in the event of a power outage.

With all the normal GT Power features, such as Powerdyne engine and super-duty copper-wound alternator this machine offers the ultimate in performance and reliability. Also featuring a silenced casing, smart throttle and eco-mode this machine is whisper quiet when in use.

The GT8000 ESi has the largest output of the GT Power inverter range, but this unit can also be used with the optional parallel connection function to increase the power output but maintain the flexibility a single machine.

GT 8000ESI

I have purchased one of these GT 8000 generators, and I have been using it for the past three months. I’m using it for my private business and also a backup source of power for my house. The generator runs incredibly smooth and is outstanding for its price. Range the noise reduction as also super helpful for your surrounding area, especially working in cities or having as a backup generator for your house. I can only recommend this model and would definitely buy again. Very helpful team and delivery was incredibly fast.

GT Power Inverter GT800

I live in the Hawea area, and the power supply is sometimes marginal. The GT8000 is a workhorse. We have already used it a couple of times to run the household pump and some of the freezers and house like my modem and network switch. It worked as a dream. I am awaiting the local electrician to get it wired into our switchboard. I have to say it is the envy of some of the local people in our community. This is the 2nd generator I have purchased in my rural life., and I have to say the setup instructions to commission it was a breeze. Highly recommend it. Just as a note, always remember to size your generator correctly, as the startup power of a water pump or a freezer is very different to the running demand, it is that early hit you need to be aware of when sizing all of your electrical devices.

Excellent value for money

We run a residential building company and have supplied generators for off grid and power back up use to some of our out of the way customers. We recently purchased the GT 8000ESi for customers in Helensville after the recent cyclone in early 2023. The GT 8000ESi power the house and our building site effortlessly. Great bang for your buck, highly recommend.

Excellent generator

When shopping for a generator I was a bit out of my depth, I had done research and for my complete off grid solar set up I needed something that communicated with the solar and was easy to use.
When purchasing this generator I was given alot of information from the team and felt this was the best fit. This generator gives Me alot of confidence going into winter, Iv only had to use it a couple of times but it runs great and doesn't just burn through the fuel. Love the convenience of the push start and as iv just moved in to our place once I get it wired in to start automatically
It's going to make it that whole lot better.
I highly recommend this product, I'm very happy with it.

Quality meets value

Before we made our purchase decision, we had the specifications of the GT8000ESi checked out by our solar installer as we were building totally off-grid and needed auto-start and a 32amp socket. After receiving the "tick" from our installer, we weighed up the cost and warranty of the GT v's 2 other brands and we pushed the go button of the GT!
We received our GT a couple of weeks before Cyclone Gabrielle hit so it went straight into service keeping our current house on-power. It didn't miss a beat through what was a 7 day power cut and handled everything we threw at it in terms of fridges, freezers, washing machines etc.
Our solar install has just been completed so looking forward to having the GT cover those wet gloomy days for us. Service and response times also good from the team at Proline.
